EL7108 - 1853 pattern cavalry troopers' sword. Black patina and would benefit from cleaning, but in generally good condition. Liege proof mark, so probably made in Solingen and imported through Liege (as many British cavalry swords were at this time). Everything tight, no movement. Does not fully enter the scabbard, leaving about 1cm of ricasso showing. A worthwhile project and basically a good example in need of some light restoration. * UPDATE: This scabbard turns out to be from (probably) an Italian M1860 and does not match this sword. I have updated the price accordingly, and if a customer wants the sword without the scabbard at all, please message me directly, and I can offer a lower price.
