EL6130 - A 19th Century Indian tulwar of good basic quality. There is nothing fancy about this weapon, but it is a good basic quality example of the sort of sword carried by soldiers and civilians all over India in the period. The fullered blade seems to be of good temper and is firm in the hilt. The iron hilt of nice proportions and fairly long for the type. Dark patina and some pitting overall, but structurally sound.
