EL7001 - A 19th century Indian kora. The iron hilt featuring silver koftgari decoration with prominent dots still evident, and the faint remains of what was clearly silver goftgari on lightly engraved decoration all over the forwards-curved kora blade (which measures 24 inches). Sadly, the koftgari on the blade has almost entirely been lost, except for at the base near the hilt, but you can still just about make out some of the images, including an elephant, and what I believe is a person on a horse.
