EL7442 - An Edwardian 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword (1902-1910) retailed by Valpy of Jersey - a rather rare outfitter in the Channel Islands. The sword in rather neglected condition, but could be improved and priced accordingly. The blade firm in the hilt, the plating of the guard very worn, the shagreen of the grip very good, but some grip wire missing. Complete in unusual field service scabbard with alloy locket, but the end chape is missing.
