EL6868 - Edwardian (1901-1910) 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword. Retailed by Jones, Chalk & Dawson of London, the proof disc is slightly damaged, but I think it has the crown which shows that Wilkinson made this for the outfitter trade. The blade bright and clean, with good crisp and detailed etching, firm in the hilt. The hilt and scabbard with dark patina, the grip a bit worn, but basically in quite good condition.
