Product Details

EL7292 - A very clean Edward VII (1901-1910) Royal Navy warrant officer or Master at Arms' sword. No outfitter marked and I cannot quite tell the maker from the proof disc (it looks like a tiny 's' under 'proved'. The blade bright and clean, in original polish, with very fresh etching and firm in the hilt with no movement. The hilt in very good to excellent condition, with the original sword knot still intact and in place. The folding drop works perfectly and engaged with the lug on the locket of the scabbard. Scabbard also in very good condition. These dark-gripped warrant officers' swords are rarer than the white-gripped officers' versions.
