EL7235 - A George V WW1 era Army Service Corps officer's swords, with the officer's initials etching on the blade (unresearched). Sold by quality outfitter Hobson & Sons and made by quality maker Pillin, this is a full sized light cavalry sword, as used by the ASC. The blade is in very good polish, with fine etching, firm in the hilt with no movement. The blade has been service sharpened for WW1, but only at the tip interestingly. The hilt in good condition, but would benefit from some polishing and cleaning, which is also the case with the nickel plated steel scabbard. Both should polish up well if desired.
