EL7195 - An unusual Highland Scottish regimental sword, by Wilkinson. This appears to be basically an 1895 pattern Highland Regiment Staff Sergeant's sword, and carried the War Department mark and Wilkinson approval stamp of a regimentally owned weapon. However it is mounted with a field service cross hilt, instead of the usual basket. The blade has been well service sharpened. The scabbard is a modern replica and not the correct type for this model of sword, but as the blade is quite sharp I have kept them together. Everything is tight and solid, and in good condition.
