EL7314 - A good quality mid to late-Victorian 1845 pattern infantry officer's sword by Edward Thurkle. Blade bright, but rather over-polished, obscuring some of the etching. The brass guard has been somewhat deformed, with a small crack in a branch of the gothic guard, and this means that it has a notable amount of lateral movement, although the rest of the hilt is generally secure on the tang. Grip in good condition. Complete with scabbard, though it is a bit tight for some reason.
