EL6965 - A very good Victorian 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword made by Pillin and retailed by Meyer & Mortimer (dating 1897-1901). The blade in close to perfect condition for the age, with original mirror polish and detailed crisp etching. Firm in the hilt. The un-plated hilt in good condition with excellent shagreen and grip wire. A really nice example.
