EL7201 - A Crimean War/Indian Mutiny era Victorian infantry officer's 1845 pattern sword, retailed by Firmin and made by quality maker Mole. The chunky blade with deep etching, firm in the hilt, and even light grey patina. The blade has been service sharpened, and the sword dates to c.1850-1860. The hilt in good overall condition, with some very slight deformation to the brass guard bars, the folding drop section works well and is stiff. The grip in good condition and complete with the original scabbard which sheathes well.
