EL7186 - A George V (WW1 era) Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) officer's sword. This would have been the regulation dress sword for an Army Surgeon or Assistant Surgeon during the time of the Great War. No maker or retailer marked, but good quality with excellent etching, on a blade which retains a lot of the original mirror polish. The hilt is in good condition, with the brass in good shape and everything tight. The shagreen has been a bit whitened (probably by brass polish in the past) and would benefit from a clean up and perhaps re-staining. Complete in correct original full dress scabbard.
