EL7112 - A scarce 1827 pattern Royal Navy Master at Arms' sword, 1827-1846 (probably c.1840). Featuring a broad Prosser-type blade, plain, with no visible etching. The blade firm in the hilt. The hilt in very good condition, with dark shagreen grip (rather than white ray skin), denoting this as a master at arms' sword. A very imposing and broad sword in the hand, complete with its original scabbard.
