EL7038 - An 1827 pattern Royal Navy officer's sword (dating to 1827-1846). Prosser style quill-back blade, with two notches in the false edge, and light patina (no etching visible). Blade firm in the hilt. The hilt in generally good condition with a good clean grip. The spring to the folding drop section of the guard is a little weak, but it does hold in open and closed positions. No scabbard.
