EL7453 - A good general staff officer's 1845 pattern sword, made by Thurkle and retailed by Anderson. In overall very good to excellent condition, the only flaw worth noting is that the bottom few inches of the blade, near the hilt, have some light patina, but the rest of the 33 inch blade is in pristine original mirror polish with frost etching, virtually like new. The blade is firm in the hilt with no movement. The hilt is in good condition, with crisp shagreen and wire, and the sword is housed in the original brass scabbard.
