EL7156 - An interesting mid-Victorian Tower Hamlet's Volunteer Rifles officer's sword, with family crest, by Pillin. The sword retailed by Pritchett, but clearly from the proof disc made by quality maker Pillin. This sword has not been researched, but there would be a good chance to identify the officer from the crest. Dark patina overall, but with clear etching. Blade firm in the hilt. The shagreen of the grip good. No scabbard.
