EL7107 - A curious version of the 1853 pattern cavalry sword. Very likely a private purchase piece, perhaps part of a private contract, perhaps for a yeomanry regiment. The blade slightly narrower than the typical 1853 pattern, bright and in good condition, but devoid of any stamps. The checkered leather grips in good condition, but a couple of the rivets are a little loose, so there is some movement in those grip slabs. The guard is of the more intricate type which is more similar to officers' swords. No scabbard.
