EL7395 - A good 1897 pattern Volunteer Engineers' officer's sword, with the officer's initials etched on the blade. Retailed by Landon and made by Thurkle. The blade in excellent condition, with fantastic etching, contrasting the mirror polish with grey frost etched panels. The initials clearly etched and give a good chance of matching this to an officer from the records, given that the sword dated to 1897-1901 (being Victorian) and marked to the Volunteer Engineers. Everything tight and all in good condition.
