EL7100 - An excellent mid-Victorian Edinburgh Volunteer Rifles officer's sword. In excellent condition, with only a few spots of staining, the blade is in 95% original mirror polish and frost etched. Probably made by Reeves in the 1860s. Scottish volunteers swords are quite sought after and of course Edinburgh volunteers is very desirable and not often seen. Hilt in equally excellent condition, with bright mirror nickel plating and the grip shagreen is still very dark, with all the grip wire intact. Complete in matching plated steel scabbard.
