EL7131 - A good late-Victorian 1845 pattern piquet weight infantry officer's sword, retailed by Hawkes and made by Pillin. Circa 1880-1890. The blade bright and clean, with good etching, firm in the hilt. The hilt in good condition generally, the shagreen in need of a bit of a clean and the thinnest strand of the wire has gone. Complete in scabbard.
