EL7198 - A Victorian Rifle Volunteers officer's sword, retailed by Hawkes and probably imported from Solingen. Slightly narrower blade than average, in bright and clean condition, with good deep etching, firm in the hilt, the backpiece featuring a checkered pommel (unusual for Rifles) and a checkered thumb-placer. Complete with scabbard, all in good condition.
