EL6952 - A good 1908 pattern cavalry sword, made by SB&NLd (Sanderson Bros & Newbold Limited) in June 1915. Service sharpened (for WW1) and still with lots of storage grease, this is very original and untouched. The bowl guard with a pleasing dark patina and the blade very crisp (what you see in the photos is mostly grease - it will clean up very nicely). Everything tight and complete, except for the missing screws on the scabbard throat, which were often removed and lost in period.
