EL6971 - A WW1 era Royal Artillery officer's sword. In overall good condition, the blade mostly excellent polish, but with a little rust near the point, and the hilt needs cleaning and polishing. The hilt is firm on the tang. A rather beefy and slightly clunky example, this has no maker marked, but it probably Sheffield wartime contingency. Complete in field service scabbard with sword knot.
