Product Details

EL7095 - A George V WW1 era (and service sharpened) 1912 pattern cavalry officer's sword, made by the revived Reeves company. Blade bright and in good condition with detailed etched and just some light patches of patina, with much original polish remaining. Blade firm in the hilt with no movement. Shagreen of the grip very good, though the wire has gone. The plated bowl guard in good condition and bright. Complete in field service scabbard. Given the service sharpening, highly likely to have been carried in WW1.
