Product Details
EL7045 - An excellent WW1 1912 pattern cavalry officer's sword by Wilkinson. Numbered for 1918, but with no name on the Wilkinson record. The blade has been service sharpened, so despite the fantastic condition, this was probably taken on active service by a newly commissioned officer in the last year of the Great War, or was perhaps a replacement sword for an already-serving officer. The condition is excellent and suitable for modern parade use by a serving officer. The blade has a couple of very minor blemishes, but nothing to prohibit it from parade use. Everything is in bright polish, tight, solid and complete. The etching is excellent and the construction quality of this sword makes modern-made parade swords look shameful.
