EL7046 - A WW1 era Prussian M1889 infantry officer's sword in scabbard, by WKC. Narrow hilt, with leather finger-loop and shagreen grip. Remains of gilt to the copper alloy fittings. Double-fullered blade in bright plated finish, with well service sharpened edge and point. Scabbard with some dents and painted for active service. A little bit of movement in the hilt, due to the loss of the leather washer, but this could be easily replaced as the pommel cap unscrews, easily allowing the hilt to be dismounted.
