EL6614 - A very clean WW1 dated Wilkinson Royal Artillery officer's sword. The blade on this sword is about 98% perfect (there are just a couple of dark patches, but the rest of the blade remains in original mirror and frost etched surface). The hilt is also very good, but there is some patina to some parts areas, and a couple of loose wires on the grip. But overall this sword is in very good condition, almost modern parade standard (and could easily be brought up to 100% modern parade condition with little effort). Although the sword is a numbered Wilkinson, dating to around 1915/16 I believe, I have not researched it. But there is a name written in pen on the scabbard (see photo). I cannot quite make out this name, but it should be possible to work it out, and hence the officer.
